Throughout recent history, we have tried to provide 60-70 editions of the AFF Sentinel each year. But President Trump has been a busy, busy fellow. And he’s pushing all of Washington D.C. to keep pace. So, we’ve already published 35 editions by mid-May.

To give you some idea of the industry’s interest and attention in the goings on in the fastest presidential pace in years, our readership interest is up some 20 percent. The potential for good and bad is palpable and everyone’s feeling it. Keeping abreast of key issues is more critical than ever.

And knowing what you are for or against holds more weight than ever, when communicating to members of Congress or federal agencies. That knowledge, some opinions on strategy and information on what other organizations or cattlemen or knowledgeable people are thinking is what we’re about.

We don’t think we are exaggerating when we say we are one of the best sources of timely commentary in the industry. Few groups comb the universe of information affecting your business like we do and communicate as often. People tell us they find out about things in our columns they don’t get anywhere else.

We try.

We only directly ask for support through contributions twice a year, usually in the spring and near the end of the calendar year.

For those not familiar with AFF, we are funded by cow/calf operators, feedyards, cattlemen’s organizations and businesses from additional sectors of our supply chain. We have no membership structure to support us.

For those who have faithfully supported us for years or decades, we thank you. You have made us possible.

For those who have thought about it but not done so, how about now?

The beef production chain has never had more at stake. We have more yield potential now than in many years.

Let’s take advantage of the opportunities.

How To Support AFF

AFF's role is to promote free market principles in dealing with the challenges to the beef industry from politicians, government bureaucrats, and activist groups.  We strive to educate everyone about relevant economic issues.  We depend only on businesses in various sectors of the beef industry production chain for funding to continue our work.
